ONDULINE DURO SX 35 Case STUDY
This reduction of noise has been officially tested and measured by the BPPT, an independent, third-party laboratory. They measured the rainfall noise on 2 roof samples; one covered with metal sheets and another covered with Onduline sheets.
Noise measurement was recorded during constant rainfall, using five microphones inside the room.
We can hear the difference of noise between the metal sheet and the one covered by the Onduline sheets.
The result of the experiment showed a difference of 23 decibels between the two set ups. The metal sheet generates 83,09 dB(A) whereas the Onduline sheet generates 59,88 dB(A)
